Getting started

A few steps to get connected.

    Start your 14-day free trial

    Join the MMS 10×20 Portfolio Challenge through the MMS copy portal. 14-day free trial, then $57/month for founding members. No credit card or payment method is required to start.

    Connect your MT5 account

    In the platform go to Configurator → Accounts → Add Account and select MetaTrader 5 (MT5). Enter a descriptive account name, your MT5 account number, your MT5 main (trading) password, your broker and broker server.

    An investor (read-only) password is not sufficient to copy trades. Enter credentials directly in the platform only — never email or send them to MMS.

    Create the trade copier

    Go to Configurator → Trade Copiers → Create Copier and use these settings:

    Risk multiplier by equity
    Multiplier
    1.00 (or lower)
    Copy Existing Trades

    Use Mr. Market Signals reference risk or lower — never higher.

    A multiplier of 1.00 is the MMS reference. Lower is allowed; never go above 1.00. A multiplier above 1.00 can materially increase drawdowns and losses and produce results very different from the MMS reference account.

    Risk multiplier by equity scales each trade size to the current equity of the MMS reference account and of your own account, keeping them proportional as values change. Copy Existing Trades: No means only new trades after you connect are copied — positions already open are not.

    Create Copier form with the MMS reference settings (multiplier 1 = 1.00). Account number hidden.

    Activate the copier

    Go to Configurator → Trade Copiers and open the copier settings. Set Copier Mode: ON, keep Copy Existing Trades: No, then click Update.

    The copier must be set to ON before new Mr. Market Signals trades can be copied to your account.

  5. 05

    Confirm copying is active

    Under Trade Copiers you should see Mr. Market Signals - 10 20 Challenge with Risk multiplier by equity @ 1.00 (or your chosen lower multiplier).

    Once it appears there, the copier is configured and the next new MMS trade should copy according to your risk setting. Identical execution is not guaranteed.

Good to know

  • The Mr. Market Signals reference portfolio is designed around a minimum $1,500 account. Smaller accounts may not reproduce the full allocation because of minimum lot sizes.
  • Broker instruments, symbol names, minimum sizes, spreads and execution vary.
  • Trading involves risk of loss. Personal results can differ from the Mr. Market Signals reference account.
